Equity Financing

The Fund shall provide equity to SMEs with capital requirement of between USD 100, 000 to USD 300,000 per transaction

The key investment criteria for selecting projects shall be;

1. Must be operating in Tanzania
2. Scalable business model
3. Potential for exit within 3 – 5 years
4. Potential for job creation
5. Minimum ROI of 25%
6. Should not be start-ups
7. Strong industry fundamentals
8. Environmentally friendly

The Fund also intermediates for bigger projects with funding requirement between USD 1m to USD 25m, through our partnering PE/VC funds globally

Short-term Financing

The Fund also intermediates with global leading trade finance houses to support local importers and exporters with their short-term financing needs by use of different export finance instruments and guarantees.
